If the hub was hot, could it have been a bad bearing causing a lot of friction? May want to check that first since it's pretty easy to access.-----also may want to post this in the gearhead section to get a few more hits
I am in Havasu, one of my trailer brakes kindof stuck on on the way back to the house - pulled the drum and can't see why?
I have surge brakes and would love some advice. I know it was stuck because it locked up on the way back to the house - and when i touched the hub -OUCH it was HOT.
Thanks

Thanks - I have now posted in Gearheads as well.
I had trouble with my brake cylinders. The little cast tube thing that acuates the brakes. They rust from going in a out of the water all the time. The problem is they will work when applying the brakes but wont retract, so you end up draging a brake shoe. Thats my best guess! Good luck
Powerquest boy hit it on the head - new cylinder and 45 minutes of work.... done.
Thanks for the help
