I'm replacing the Quicksilver control with individual throttle and shifter controls and I put the trim switch on the wheel. Will I be able to trim the drive all the way up (for trailering) with the "up" trim button? I heard that it will only go so far and will require a seperate switch to get it to go all the way up. Is this right?

That Depends entirely on How you Wire It.............
If you wire it Through the Limit Switch, It'll Stop at the Trim level..........
If you By-pass the Limit switch, It'll go All the way to Trailer.............

    Bondo,
Does the limiter use the same sensor that triggers my trim indicator gauge? With factory wiring, does the trim pump get more voltage (and move faster) when the trailer trim button is used. I didn't cut up any of the factory wiring yet, so I can just add a "trailer trim" switch and retain the factory wiring, but I won't bother unless it trims up faster.
    Thanks, Buck

    No,
It's the 1 that looks exactly like it on the Other side of the Outdrive.......

    No,
    Just Longer,+ Higher.......
