Hello everyone.
Has anybody ever buily a tall deck 565, 8.5 JE, 4.25 Cola crank, MSD Ignition and retard system with 16-18 lbs boost?
How much hp/torque could you get?

We built a 565 cu in motor with gail banks twin turbos. The motor made 1050 lbs ft torque at 3100 rpm and 960 hp at 5200 rpm.
pump gas intercooler 12 psi boost.

Customlinkage,
We have a few customers who have built motors in that range, with 16-18, you would probably see 1275-1375 depending on heads and camshaft. This is of course with our quad rotor. Would never run that much boost in a marine motor with a roots.
