    Correct,
    When GM came out with the HEI ignition, they recommended something ridiculous like .060" plug gap, but then chaged it to a closer gap: .045"
    They should all be st at .045".....

    Any different for my 10 to 1 comp. 400 ( in a blazer, tow rig) thats what I set it at but havent even started the motor yet

    Nope, distributer don't know what it's in, .045 with an HEI!..
