Well lets see some pictures of it......
Picked this up in Roanoke today.
Much thanks to Wideopen545 for showing it to me.
It's a '78 Sleekcraft Aristocrat 21' with a 454 and JF berkley pump.

Hey Tim, looks like just what you were lookin for. With TT exhaust, motor cover, less than 500hp you should be able to insure it, no sweat. Progressive might be the place.

Nice boat ..

it needs to be ran
Tim, those are a super nice boats. I know of three of them around me. One is a V-Drive. It has a 454?
Cool boat........see you Guy's at Anna!
Well Tim you did buy a boat. It is a 20ft sleekcraft not a 21ft. As a mater of fact it is 20ft 2 inches to be exact. The hull weighs 650lbs. If that is the right motor? It will run 65mph on a good day. All in all it is a very nice lake boat. I really liked it when i had it. Bought it new in 1978. I sold it to a friend of mine who died recently.
I hope it doesn't galled you to bad that i used to own it.
Here's a few more Pics.

Thanks everyone, for the POSITIVE comments.
We're pretty happy with it.
I spent most of yesterday checking out every aspect of it.
I crawled around under it, checking out the bottom and pump.
Crawled up in the nose, ran a compression test on the motor,
listened to it while running with a mechanic's stethescope.
(It sounded like a Swiss watch, very nice)
Took it for a ride and was impressed, plus I got a set of real nice aluminum wheels for the trailer and a polished rudder included in
the price, which was VERY fair. The guy I bought it from was real honest with me about everything he knew the boat needed,
and I made a new friend in the bargain, a real nice guy.
He bought it from someone who moved to Roanoke from California.
I talked to Greg Shoemaker about the boat and got a lot of positive input, Plus he sold me a set of Stellings water jacketed, thru- transom headers, used, for a really good price!
