When the water level was down this winter, the island side of the channel had much less rock then the village side. It was interesting to see the channel with the sides high and dry.

But isn't any sand, bad for your gel coat?
(I have visions of anchoring in water all summer)
It's a new boat, we use to beach our old boat, no problem, but this is our NEW boat....
(LIKE it is even up to me!)
    LMAO

My theory is use it, but don't abuse it. The channel is part of the Havasu experience. I would hate to miss out on it. Just be carefull.

We like to drive up and visit the channel, maybe have a few beers, but steaking out your space all day, is not my idea of fun.
I'd rather be driving down the river.............
    stop at the sand bar................
    drive to the bridge..........
drive to this side of parker...........
    drive to the bridge........
    drive to the sandbar........................
    drive back.........

Pick up a piece of soft carpet and place that down before pulling your boat up on the beach.

Yes, it is posted at 34 feet, but they got a bye today for the ruined poker run that allowed the 46 Outerlimits, Cigarette Tigers, Skaters, and a few others to use the channel. It'll go back to 34 feet tomarrow or Monday...
