    I never understood the carpet dealio. What do you do with the wet sandy carpet when your done? It wouldn't go in my boat. I wouldn't just leave it. Good luck finding a trash can it would fit in.

    I take it you don't bring wet skis, lifejackets, tow ropes, etc. into your boat?

    Size limit is posted as 36', but it is not enforced. I was told that the restrictions were put in place to keep the houseboats out of the channel.
    We have never had a problem at 38', and there are boats out there bigger than us.

    It is 36 and the only time I have seen it enforced is on Holiday weekends. If your already beached they will usually leave you alone. Too many other things to do.

    Ive seen people use a big beach towel before. Never done it myself, but it make more sence than using old carpet.

    I saw "Full House" in the channel late Friday. Where are they from? One of the nicest boats I have ever seen on the lake.
