Oh.
The sign says 36 at both of the entrances to the channel and the fine is $250, they will usually give you one warning if they do not recognize the repeat defenders.
Holliday weekends you are takeing your chance, they will usually let you come in the north end of the lake as long as you do not go into the main channel.
Now if you have a commercial licence (skipper) bring on the 50 footer.

Oh.
Really?!
very interesting.......this all started because someone told me there was a size limit of (now this sounds silly ) 24ft.
I just wanted to be sure we could cruise the channel....
Thanks!
It is posted right next to the sign that says "Excessive fun and lewdness prohibited."
no beads or beer.......
boatless, the pleasure was mine. Thanks for sharing some inside information. After leaving you I went to the Nautical cove and talked to a few early finishers. They were quite upset with the change of the character of this once outstanding event. It just doesn't seem like something the CG would do, they are so safety oriented. As mentioned elsewhere, there is more to this story.
FYI, the 47 GTX Outer Limits is listed in the current Powerboat (am I allowed to say that) as a 2004 with staggered 900SC's and #6 drives, good for 110 MPH. A wild guess at the price would be +/- 3/4 mil. A recent trials report listed something like this with Sterlings at 800+. Am I close?

If anyone has a photo of "Full House" please post it. Thanks. I would be interested in the engine power too. It apperaed to have blown staggered twins. The hatch was closed. Sounded sweet.
here are a few more of "Full House"
