I know that there bottom is a major improvment to the typical cat bottom, The few 28's I've seen have been bad ass.
Dory is striaght up easy to deal with. I'm not sure of there pricing?
Anyone know?
Can anyone tell me about their boats, quality, and ride? In particular their 28 cat.

You can contact Joel @ Rodesway boats for info & pricing. (626)963-8568
I haven't seen one. Do they have a website we could look at?
well I have first hand experience with Domin8tor boats and with Dory.
I actually went to the factory while down in Havasu for the heat wave.
The cat is one of the nicest boats in general that I've seen around. Their cat is sweet and handles like a dream. Dory has one himself and its set up like a cruiser with sink and wet bar. The cabin alone with a flatscreen TV is awesome. He has just finished their new 28 deck boat which is bad ass.
I would recommend looking closely at the Domin8tor boats. Pricing depends on power.
I saw 2 Domin8tor cats in the channel over the weekend.
Both were top notch.

Went by Lynch's boat yard in Havasu, weekend of Heatwave researching the Placecraft Deck. Spoke to Gary and others there.
He is building the Domin8er there and has a few completed. The deck looks very sleek.
He said that HE tooled the bottom from a Cougar 27, stretched so
the boat is full 28' to transom. It has two serpentine steps, sweet.
He threw out some prices, reasonable compared to some others.
We asked about layup, he explained all Vinalester(sp) resins,balsa...good stuff. Gary will do demo rides with the boats in stock there. He also lays up th PLacecraft, Cheetah, a few others. He contracts out and builds per the Mfgr's spec's,whether
top quality or Cheapy cheapy.
Spent some time with the gelcoaters also very cool and approachable; husband/wife team.
Mark.
