This boat looks interesting to me. Look at the bottom of the hull. That thing doesnt look efficient Plus it has a right side steering wheel:yuk:

If you scroll down to the bottom of the page, I think they let that monkey in their avatar apply the CF numbers on the hull. If the simplest things aren't right...
The r/h steering looks like it the hull could've been planned originally for an I/O
drive. (the interior is nice though)

Eclipse boats was an idea that poped up in the late 90s, early 2000s. They would buy hulls from other manufacturers and them rig them to order. I couldn't tell you who that tunnel was made by, but as far as I know Eclipse is no longer in business. I had seen the boat in Redondo Beach without power, and given them a call, but they seemed more interested in getting more "affiliates" to join their company than actually selling boats.

It looks like a PlaceCraft splash to me.

That boat on Ebay looks allmost like a twin to the 79 Brendella I had many years ago.

The Brendella was splash of a Hondo Flatbottom with the last 4ft of the bottom changed to a semi vee bottom. These boats handled and ran real good if set up right.
Looks like that mold sure got around

As far as not looking efficient, I wouldn't say that. It looks like a modified tunnel runner style hull, much like my Riviera. From the side it looks like a v-hull, however looking from the front forward it's got runners that run pretty much from where the keel breaks and starts running back, and they run straight back to the transom. And you've seen the yellow boat run 396...
