I had a condo on the Island at the Nautical Estates, and I got $165/night...A friend of mine has a condo in town and he gets 75 but it's a word of mouth thing - no advertising.
For Bigger bucks you need to us a property manager.
I might have the opportunity to buy 1/2 intrest in a condo in lake havasu. It is a 3 bdrm 2 bth fully furnished, covered patio, and it is in a great location. I would like to rent it out to boaters on ocasion. My question is what would be the going summer rate? I was thinking about 65.00 to 80.00 a night , any thoughts my months would be from may 1st through oct 31st

How close is it to the water?
It is close to the ramada, has swimming pool and tennis courts, not that tennis would be good in 1115 heat. Not sure if this will happen yet but just was wondering if I could get it to help pay for itself in the summer months.
Zanado (directly across for the Ramada Express) is 95.00 for a one bedroom and 125.00 for a two bedroom per night on a off weekend. They go to like 250. per night for a one bedroom on the holidays. There on site property managment is a 50/50 split and they cover the cleaning and all the work. So you only get 50 bucks inyour pocket for every night rented.
There are other offsite property managment Co. that do it for as little as 10 percent but you incure more costs like the cleaning service. Hope this helps to show you when you do have a good deal.

...I don't think there could be a better deal for you, that's like the only months to be there

I disagree. This is Havasu not Ohio. Boating season is pretty much year round. Great desert activities in the winter months too.
