I'm thinking of selling my boat less motor. It's an 86 Nordic Bubbledeck (18'6"). The boat has full length stringers, dominator jet w/diverter, cd stereo w/amp and sub, and is in excellent condition. Motor mounts for a BBC would be included. The trailer is a competitive tandem axle with surge brakes. The boat has less than 50 original hours on it.
Here's where I need help. How much do ya'll think I can get for it less motor?
Thanks

$4500, I knew somebody had to have an opinion brewing.
MP, you ought to buy it. The seat mounts are already done.

That's pretty funny, just finished mine today. I tell you what, it wouldn't be a bad deal, I could sell my boat less motor and drop my motor right in. It's a little hard to justify though, with all the work I've been putting into my boat, but then yours looks so nice Honesty if I had the extra cash, I'd do it in a second. But there is no way I could swing it. Hang on to it for a while longer and then we'll talk.

that's a really beautiful boat. How fast did it run with the old motor?

Thanks. I'm not sure of the top speed. I got it up to 61 mph (gps), but then pussed out of the throttle because I didn't like the water conditions. It was still pulling when I dropped throttle. I would say it probably does 70. Nothing fancy for the motor. It's a 502 crate motor with iron heads, low compression, and exhaust logs.
Nubbs, you going to FC this weekend???
