Just wondering what a yard of mix cost delivered where you live.

2 weeks ago, it was $75/yard with 8 yards delivered. You might get charged for a short load if you dont order minimum amount.

I don't know what a yard costs, but here's a little tidbit I've learned. Almost all of the concrete in the Western US is owned by one company. Mitsubishi. Concrete prices have dropped over the last few years, in an effort by Mitsubishi to drive competition away and gain market share. It seems to be working, since thier main ready mix company, Roberson, is everywhere en mass, and when all of the competition is gone, prices will begin to soar.
My opinion only, just some scuttlebutt I've heard lately.

I use Gary Bale Concrete. He and his son run the company and own their own batch plant. They also run and own Casino Ready Mix in Las Vegas.
They have some sweet ass trucks.
