    I'm currently having made a 28' boat with a 500hp. Probably needs hydraulic steering but I'd rather not spend $4k+ for it. Who makes quality product for best price? Thanks, Tab

    Go with Imco, Do not know if they are they cheapest, but allways remember this:
    When was the last time you were sorry you bought the best!
    I have been happy with mine, Especially after today.
    Went & finally tested my new motor package, 75+ MPH, way happy. It only took 6 months!

    You might try calling this guy, or do a search on OSO. Supposed to offer the same quality steering at about half the price;

    Call WPM (http://www.wpmracing.com/). They're in Corona.
    I have their system on my boat, it works great, fits great, and the customer service is second to none.
    They will do whatever it takes to dial your boat in, and make sure you are safe and satisfied.

    IMCO, by far the best deal on a dual add-on. I've had one for 2-years, and very happy w/it.
