I've got a 502 / Bravo in a 1989 Warlock 24 w/ no prop. I've compared to other similar boats with similar power and I think I'll be trying a Bravo 4-blade 28p (1.5:1).
What are the different style hubs that are available? Which one should I choose?
For the Bravo one, theres pretty much only one choise for hub type, that being a through hub.
A 28" pitch might be a little optimistic for a 24' with a 502, unless it's a HP500 or maybe blown.
If its a Magnum, you may want to start with a 24" 4 blade or 23" to 25" 3 blade.

Thanks for the input. I bought the boat used. Motor was suppedly built by Tyler Crockett's shop and was dyno's at 520hp. I want to keep the rev's around 5000 at WOT, so I thought I could pull a 28" 4-blade.

I haven't purchased any prop yet. I bought the boat without one. What do you want for the 27 Hydromotive? I may be getting the 28 Bravo - would you be interested in a trade at some point? I'd guess you are beyond a 28 if you are still running the Stoker / Whipple.

Here are some pictures. Prop is not perfect, then again it's only $200! There is one blade that is slightly deformed at the last 1/4" or so. I went macro as close as I could and it is the bottom RH blade in one pic.
