my guess is..since its off of a diesel..it prob is a 6-71..this is what most GMC/Chevy trucks used as far as i am aware of...if u post a pic..it prob can be identified better
Ron
p.s. if u are interested in selling it??..PM me and let me know
Please help me ID a GMC Supercharger. There are 4 bolt holes on each side and the case where the rotors is 15" long not including the bearing plates). Yes I know its off a diesel and it's not plug and play, but I might use it as a core someday.

If the rotors are 15 inches long, then it's a 6-71. The next question shoud be "Is it a big bore 6-71 or a small bore 6-71?" The difference IS significant!
Rotors increase in length by one inch over the 6-71 for the 8-71 (16") and another inch for the 10-71 and so forth and so forth up to the 16-71 which has 20" rotors.
OK, so how can I tell if is a large bore or small bore. Disassembly is not a concern, if required.
