Usually it's a lean condition causing that. May be poor intake manifold design leaning out that particular cylinder.
i have a 500 hp i was putting a procharger on to and during thr dyno test the #1 cylinder was going over 1600 degrees all the other ones were under 1500. they checked the injectors it was ok any thoughts thanks

Either way you need to jet or re program to get the cyl with the highest temp into an acceptable range. It might make the rest a bit rich but it's better than burning up the motor
they were trying to make the other ones richer but it bought the hp down to about 600 and it is 6.5 lbs of boost and the 1 cylinder still got to hot
