I did Union, Washington and Samamish but a long time ago...live in Vegas now. Not sure these days?
But back to the thread. I was going to suggest disconnecting one battery at a time to troubleshoot on the lake? If only one battery is bad you may find it that way. But the fact that you saw 14.2 and then I'm assuming just battery voltage back on the lake is strange. If you can disconnect the pump and driveway test it'd be easier to run through the different possibilities. Could be an intermittantly shorted plate I suppose. Or something as simple as a loose connection. Check (and double check) the easy things first...each wire in the charging system. Is your alternator grounded? I had a similar problem and turned out to be that...my alternator mounting bracket is annodized and the alternator bolts not making a good connection. Ran a separate ground and presto!
