Are you having problems with it breaking? I'd just run the 1x w/ 550hp. Just don't hammer it, and I think it'll hold up just fine.

ya i did wsuwrhr but just hoping to get some more views in the sandbar. thanks river toys jas. some other people said just be careful with it. just wanted to see if it would be worth it to get the xr or fixed up bravo one and not have to worry about it.

im not having any problems just looking to bring my 496HO up to 550 hp.
I know somebody who has a new (used - has been sold but never installed on a boat) Teague platinum drive for sale - $5K, retail $8K+.
