It doesn't tow, it moves the boat around - Heater ?

1997 Mazda B2300 - Aka Ford Ranger. The heater is constantly on. What do I look at. It doesn't matter where I set the dial, I get constant hot air. Kind of like talking to.... never mind.

Sounds like the blend door.

either blend door, which might be it, or the climate control switch box...just replace that maybe? thats what happened on my high school s10 pickup. 75 bucks at the dealer.

The blend door has a plastic square drive on it, they break all the time...remove the ac / heater suitcase assembly , sometimes a replacement
blend door is available through the after-market, if not just put the broken
plastic piece back on with some epoxy and a hose clamp...walla !

it was the blend door. Thank you for the help. I can now drive with the windows up and my feet not on fire.
