Thread: Is my bravo 3 history?

While cruising today I heard a faint clunk from somewhere aft and headed back home to check it out. Back at the dock a distinct "clicking" sound can be heard coming from the outdrive. (1997 Bravo 3) The sound is engine rev sensitive and is present in both neutral and forward, however it stops when reverse is engaged. Trimming the drive or moving the steering from lock to lock has no effect on the sound. The drive oil in the monitor is clean and is up to the line. Anyone come across this before? Any ideas?
    Thanks.
