Looking good! Sorry to hear about your motor problems. Would like to know why (when you figure it out) as I'm replacing the pan, pickup and pump in my 460. Where did the alternator bracket come from??? I need one of those! My engine is down in a box and I need to be able to adjust it from the top. Thanks in advance.

Thank you. Engine is cleaned up, running and doing very well.
- first pump failure = have no idea, no physical evidence...maybe a bent shaft, still locks solid when torn apart...)
- New high volume pump works well, but many folks (I trust) say I should have went with a stock pump. The high volume just adds stress to the gear/spring pin/etc with no real benifit. I'm going to pull distibuter and change the spring pin to heavy steel as I see this as the weak link.
- alternator bracket is stock. (1969 Lincoln engine, from what I see - the best stock 460 to build, high compression, no emmissions and 365 HP starting out)
