MY NEIGHBOR AT THE RIVER HAS A SICK TWIN 2.5 DCB MACH22 THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT SELLING. One of the trickest 22's ever built (besides mine ofcourse ) The open bow sounds like a good idea, and we thought about making ours a open bow untill we saw one in person...the front area is pretty useless. Very shallow and barley enough room for your feet on the floor.....im VERY glad I didnt cut ours open. Before you buy a open bow make sure you look at one. If you want a really nice one with a single 300X with every option available and REALLY incredible stereo I have a nice 2003 forsale......goodluck.

Thanks for the input.
I have a 21 Daytona jet and I'm looking for a little more room.
The 22 outboard sounds nice and the bowrider sounded really good.
I'll keep looking til I find a picture of one.

I think the dcb is about the same low profile as your 21 daytona.It is longer though.I bought a 22' daytona and it is alot taller than a dcb.
