congrats man, welcome to the addicting world jet boats. post some pics for all to see.
Well I got a jet boat last week. It's a 1976 kona. with a 455 olds motor. I dont know the first thing about jet boats but it sure looks like fun. After years of Desert racing motorcycles my wife got tired of sitting in the dusty desert waiting for me to return.so my buddy suggested I buy his boat that he had't used in 3 years. It seems to be in great mecanical shape and looks ok. so does anyone know the history of Kona boats?

Grease your thrust bearing. Now. Often.
Nice, you'll find satisfaction in every hour of maintenence/cleaning on the water.
Looks pretty clean....congrats..!
I have 2 zerk fittings on the pump. One on the inboard side and one on the outside. Are these the thrust bushings? and what type of grease?
Those are for your oil in the bowl. If you notice one is higher than the other. Oil goes in the one that is higher and keep goin till oil comes out of the other .
