How far is it to go from Catherines Landing up to the Hoover Dam area? I have heard it is a real nice ride with some nice scenery.
Taking 10 days off after the 4th, so need to do something other than Havasu. Thanks.

Thanks. I see it took you 2 1/2 hours to get there. How fast were you going? Did you need to get gas on the water?

35 to 40 except when it got choppy. 2 1/2 is mor or less an estimate. We launched at noon and didn't notice the time until we stopped at Willow Beach on the way back from the Dam, it was then 3:30. I got gas at Willow. It turns out I didn't need it but would have came back almost empty. Gas was nearly $3 a gallon, may be cheaper at Cottonwood.

A full tank and your boat should get you up and back.....

60 miles is about right. it is 50 miles give or take a few feet from katherine's to willow beach
