I wanna do Mohave from Cottonwood the weekend of July 10th. I want to stay in searchlight. What is good? One of the Casinos, which one? I know there's only 2 or so, right? I'm too big of a pansy to camp in mid July.

I don't think there is anything in searchlight but a McDonalds.

The casino on the corner, where you turn to go to Cottonwood, is just a Cafe and Casino, no Hotel that I know of.
IMO, your best bet is to stay in Laughlin, or maybe Stateline.

There is a motel, $50 bucks a night Kinda scary. How far from stateline to cottonwood? How far from Vegas to Willow?

The El Rey Motel just south of the road to Cottonwood right on Hwy 95. Rooms are cheap, about $50/night.
The place was probably built in 1960 and has not been updated since. There are'nt too many options in Searchlight, so you take what you can get.

Prim to Searchlight is 42 miles, add another 15 to Cottonwood....so 57 miles.
Be aware, there's a STEEP hill, between 15 and Searchlight. Uphill going towards Searchlight.
