Here's some info on those boats if anybody is interrested:
#126-B class-has a 360 inch AMS prepped motor, runs 95MPH, and placed 4th in the worlds, 1st in his class
#157-B class-has a 364 inch AMS prepped motor, runs 105MPH, and unfortunately didn't finish at the world
#354-Unlimited class-has a 630 inch twin-turbo Donavon, runs 115MPHplus (that's a guess), placed 5th in the worlds, 1st in his class( I think the TT motor melted down and he was running a NA motor for most of the worlds)
#266-B class-has a 364 inch motor, runs around 100MPH, and placed DNF in the worlds, 3rd in his class
I think most of that info is current, I probably messed something up.
The worlds was pretty hard on the motors as most of it was more of a drag race than the rapids and technical runs that they normally are. You have to finish all of the legs (again I think?) to place in the worlds but you can DNF/DNS a couple of legs and still win your class. Some of the fastest boats were out with motor issues, but that's not to say that the winners weren't running hard. It wasn't easy keeping the motors up for 500 miles, trust me, I never crossed the start line-Aluminum Squirt
Those boats are just straight up BadA$$! I missed the races but heard lotsa stories about them. Thanks for the pics Hud
