Barbeque is on for Saturday so everyone bring some stuff to grill up. For a day trip this should be a killer get together.
Maybe set up a 1/4 mile cove?
let's make it four jets then, i think we're going to roll the dice on low water and go! afterall, it looks like a nice beach (compared to anything at don pedro, which is rocky everywhere) and there is always the hot sun to drink under.
we're going to stay up in the mountains friday night and then boogie it down there, so we might arrive around noon...hopefully earlier. we don't need hookups for camping, so maybe will be a spot left for us. we'll probably just crash in the back of the truck under the stars.
looking forward to jets, roosts, some killer music, spirits and good times. maybe we can get some good pics and vids so everyone that doesn't go can kick themselves for not doing it.

Cool Deal. We are not camping there just a day trip on Saturday. We should get there between 8-9am. If you decide to camp, there is plenty of room around the lake right by the water. We will be to the left of the West boat launch as seenin the photos. Hope to see ya there!

just to let everyone know, we had a positive experience at this lake. it was kind of scary at first, with low water and signs warning us to boat at our own risk.
however, we quickly discovered that the lake was actually quite big enough to have some fun and there are no hidden obstacles out there.
the most stunning thing to us was the cold water. in a shallow lake, you'd think it'd be warm but much to the contrary. cold water however is quite refreshing. to those who saw us there and interacted, thanks for the good times. we're sad to have discovered this fun spot only a few weeks before leaving california!
cheers
