What is the gear ratio of the omc cobra drive? its an 88 king cobra package but Im sure its not a king drive. some one once told me that changing the gear would help tremendously. What do you think ??
I'm running a 24/p stainless at about 4700/4800
It must be taller than a bravo cause I ran a 28/p cleaver on my 454 at 5100
any info on props / gears or any changes would help. thanks

It's a stock 460 in a '88 stingray (svc- 220 maxim II) I like the way it handles . I installed a nose-cone on it last year,seemed to help. length is 21.8 W/ a 96" beam weighs about 3200# dry. prop is old, prob. earley 90's 3blade thats seen its better day .
