Well, it works for my hydro just fine. Don't use the white wire. It's for a points setup. And don't put the box on the engine without a vibration mount.

I like it. I think that's pretty much what is in my boat.
As far as what I have found in R&D testing, the Jacobs stuff is the best ignition box. You asked. . .

Very nice! MSD makes good reliable stuff for sure.
I'm kinda partial to this stuff:

I woulda stayed witht the HEI and thrown some gadgets in it. Buy hey thats some cool shit!
Looks like you got the right stuff for a high perf reliable ignition.
good choice on the 6AL that should keep it from overreving when or if you catch a little air.

Which box and stuff?? I have seen their stuff but never tried it.
Well man I want to say that stuff is awesome and will work great.
The only problem I have seen with those pieces is the inside of the Distributor corroding out really bad in only 1 season. Seen it many times.
The marine distributor is sealed and will not do that.
You can get away wthout the marine box, but do not let it get wet.
Other than that put the next to lightest springs in the advance and go for it.
