I'm running part # CRN-139731, a hydraulic roller from Crane, in my 454 and really like it. Idles well, minimum maintenance, good midrange. Recommended CR of 9.5:1 to 11:1.
wow thats a big cam.. .587/.610 thats alot of lift... Is it a stock 454??? what do you have in there??

    Shallow Minded
Sorry, should have clarified.... not stock. B&M 174 blower, SpeedPro #2453 blower pistons, GM cast #14097088 heads, MSD ignition. Sits in a 26 foot Wellcraft Nova, similar to an early Scarab.

listen to this guy.... even if he is from OK.
A Crane 731 hydraulic roller would be a good cam.
