Sounds like Siberia to me
Nice..... I rememeber fishing in the White River when I was a kid. We drove through in August on the way back from CBBB. It's beautiful. It was 106 in Phoenix, when we hit the highest altitude it was 76.
Really nice area.

Couldn't have said it better myself. The first thing I was thinking is that they have 4 seasons there (not the resort either).
sounded like the active adult country club living for a moment. YOU MEAN THE OTHER 4 SEASONS??? screw that. No shoveling snow for me.
One word comes to mind: Mormons...
Snowflake is sort of in the middle of nowhere and it is fairly religious as well. Particular to one regilious settlement from the Western US.

I'll just sit in Phoenix and enjoy shoveling the sunshine out of my driveway. And when I get done with that I can see ice and snow in it's natural habitat, my freezer or my ice chest.
Snowflake is more of a high desert at 5,600 feet.
