Thread: Bravo drive spacers

    Anyone on this board ever use a spacer to lift the bow a little more to improve top end? Greg

    Since a spacer lowers the propshaft height, the prop would be deeper in the water. I think this would help only if your x-dimension is set too high to begin with.
    Did someone tell you that you need the leverage?

    No one told me so but the boat power hops above 90 or so.

    Also when I trim it above neutral a rooster tail starts and speed goes down drastically, not typical for o Vee bottom. Even on glass water it still goes wa wa wa wa and doesnt stop.
