Thread: 496 Mag Question

    I have a 496 Mag. Do I have to run Premium (91) or would it be ok if I run mid-grade(89)?

    Run ONLY 87. It is tuned for that and will actually not run optimum on higher.

    I agree, it sounds crazy; but 87 octane, 496 mag runs better in all conditions.
