I got a speeding ticket in California and the officer said he didn't think it was legal.But he just gave me a warning. I found out that it is legal to pull two tags if you have the proper endorsement on your license. I didn't, but I talked to a guy at the DOT that said he doubted anyone would pull me over just to check for the endorsement. So I decided to chance it. I had a DOT guy look it over at the check point in Arizona but he didn't say anything. Just made me sweat a little.
I know it is legal in CA if you have the dbl endors on you DL. If you chance it, the only real issue is insurance. If you stacked the whole thing up and tried to get ins to cover, they would say you were "out of class" on your DL and they could dismiss the claim.
