I've always heard .10 for every 100 pounds, but don't know that.
Does anybody have any knowledge or data on how weight reflects e.t & mph on your average river racer? Lets say a passenger of 150lbs vs no passenger I know theres some varibals on this question, however im trying to get a baseline. thanks,

me alone (220lbs), 2 full tanks of gas - 71.8
me, 2 full tanks, 135lb passenger - 68.3
me, 2 semi full tanks, 275lb passenger - 66.9

Steve,
The ET should increase with more weight not the opposite.

I compensated with diverter angle and a manually adjustable loader.
In my Rogers v-bottom, I weighed the coctail seats (65 pounds each) and trading them out at the track for a single fiberglass bucket seat was worth 2 tenths of a second off the ET. Removing the false floor (which was a waterlogged and heavy 3/4-inch thick plywood board) was good for another tenth and a half.
Weight is crucial. Put your boat on a diet and see what happens. I dont remember what the mph increases were though.

Did you take in account the added resistance on the bow eye bearings?
Ive heard 60 lbs. is worth a .10 on a good boat.
In my opinion, if you shave enough weight you may be dealing with a tottally different boat.
which leads back to another thread. Will removing weight change the center of gravity? and how much?
William,
I drilled 2- 3/4" holes on either side of the bow eye to let air pass through instead of around the hull. It, in essence, makes the hull like a flute. Different wind conditions give a different tune as the air passes through the holes.
