I have two brand new sets. Let me know;
Two sets of Hi Tech Poly Locks for 7/16 studs #4000-16 for $45.00 each set.
Make it $35 being its Christmass and I will send them out today.
That bad ass engine you got broke them f---ers. Either that or them big guns you use to tighten them.
What type of rockers do you use, and do you use a girddle? How much cam shaft? MP
Thanks for the replys guys. I stopped by bergeron marine and showed them. They said that the studs are too short. I am running comp stainless full rollers without a stud girdle. My cam is a clay smith solid .615 lift,258@.050,108 lobe

Your silly taylorman
If you look at the posi lock it is quite small in the "shank" area. Without adaquate stud engagement, and without a girgle, all the strain of the rocker is directed at the weakest point of the posi lock . I would strongly suggest a girdle of some sort, even a "J mar" is better than nothing, and will work just fine as long as you don't have to run valves between races...........Another thing to check is the rocker spotface, was it up? or down? If installed wrong that will split the posi lock because it tightens down on a round surface...MP
