There is no reason to switch from an Edelbrock to a Holley. Edelbrocks are very simple and forgiving carbs with almost nothing to go wrong. Go back to the basics as outlined by Mr. Circlejerk and figure it out. Check the timing and advance while you are at it. Also check the fuel pressure, a lot of fuel pumps are set to about 6 psi which is too high. Edelbrocks only need 4 to 4.5 psi. Speaking of 2 Edelbrocks, I somehow manage to run 7.90's at 140 mph with two 750's so don't give up on the carb. Keep us posted!
