Almost forgot, I need a regular v-drive pan ! yeah I bought this one, got it all dressed up and then noticed it is bass ackwards. sooo I will trade or buy another. The Gil pan is a very nice piece great workmanship on the welds etc. 1 half inch fitting, one 3/8" fitting and the standard drain on the other end.

Art, from your experience with these type pans, will it clear the filter screwed on to an Olsen cooler?? And, what type of tray would be used in it??....Ray

I was not going to use an additional windage tray as the oil is contained below the tray at the front of the pan and the back is the pick up, I can check the clearance for a windage tray if desired. The pan only allows oil to move from the kickouts back through the trap door onto the pick up during acceleration and through holes that open directly on the pick up during turning. I am no expert but it appears to be a pretty slick system.

i have that very same oil pan on my boat. very nice have had no problems with it thus far. in addition to a Perma-Cool dual filter remote it makes for pricey oil changes. but i think it is well worth it.
