Does anybody know anything about Jetster's? I bought a 1978 Jetster last year and I was wondering if they are any good. I have looked around and also asked people about them but I can't seem to get any info on it. If anybody knows about them I would really appreciate the info.

Probably a copy of something, maybe a Hallet(the Hallet could be a copy too?) I know of one that runs Very strong.

I'm gonna go with Todd on this one. It looks A LOT like an old Elminator Bubble. If its a splash of that hull and constructed halfway well, it should perform nicely. I loved the set our old Elim bubble took. Nice riding boat for its size.

i had a buddy whom had the splash of an elim, bubble 76", and the man. was mantra ray,...the boat was pretty quick and it came with a panther pump. it was a very clean boat, a guy from San Dimas bought it! the orig. gel was yellow/orange w/ black pinstripes....white int. and accenting colors! super clean!

That's a Hallett. I had a new 1975 with an olds. That is a Hallett original. While the deck looks like other bubble decks the bottom is different. Great riding boat for its size and corners flat. Tom Bandy would be the guy to talk to. He has that same boat with a DNE single carb motor and a MPD pump running 96 MPH in the quarter at Ming. I believe he goes by "Old Squirt"

OK!! do we have to go there!!..lol
it is not a hallett,...and the reason why...the transom gunnell on a hallett has a vertical splash guard about 2.5-3'' tall and an eliminator has nothing, like this jetster, or whatever the name is!
but hey...never claimed to know everything... just taking notice! lol

Todd, your right. I saw the bubble, the drop in the gunnel at the front seat and what looks like a Hallett sticker. Your are correct about the rear gunnel area. Some of the later years of the Hallett had a raised rear gunnel like a rear spoiler. You know your shit dude.

"SHIT" maybe....everything....never! J/K
it might not even be an elim. splash... the way the man. slutted the molds around in the 70's....it could be anything!!!
thats why i have respect for the v-drivers...when you see a v-drive, its a good chance you can name the hull from a distance!
P.S. i would have to say that the rogers hulls are in that same catagory!!lol

when i was bout 10 yoa my uncle and i ( the one with the red-n-white ROGERS!!) would sit in the channel and take turns guessing at the type of hulls would pass through! its definitly kinda wierd, what you remember from your childhood, huh?

The boat handles really good. I would say it does probably about 60-70 mph. It has a 460 with a jacuzzi jet pump. I am the 3rd owner of it and when the second owner had it he left it in the sun without a tarp on it and the clear coat bubbled and peeled off, and he cut a foot by 2 foot hole in the wood under the dash and the styrofoam pellets are coming out. I am tearing it down and rebuilding it. So I am trying to find the best way to re-do it all so down the line I won't have any problems.
