    Has anybody mentioned that Force 26 has a nice 30' Drone w/a 600?
    I heard a rumor that its for sale too :wink:

    I wouldn't want the extra maint/service/weight of the twins. It all depends on you taste, I suppose.
    Twins in that size boat are nice for several reasons though. First, you're not flogging a single engine to get and keep things moving. Second, getting in and out of tight spots with twins is so much easier with the added manueverability. Third, going out in the ocean with a single engine can be bad news should you have any kind of mechanical trouble. With twins, theoretically, you'll still have a good engine to get back in with.
    p.s. did anyone notice that I didn't say anything bad about Kachina???

    Force26's boat is one of the nicest looking Kachina's that I've seen come out of there and you can't go wrong with the 600 Merc that's in there. If you're thinking about going down this road, I hear it might be for sale.

    Do you have twins on your boat??
    It's easy to spend other peoples money.
