Madison had a very good night again and remains stable. The infection
in her lungs is getting better. She is now on an oscillator instead of
the ventillator. This machine breaths for her in rapid puffs of air
instead of an inhale/exhale manner. This has helped her battle the lung
infection. She is still very sedated and relaxed with medication. She
will most likely remain in this treatment for a few more days. An MRI
will happen as soon as the doc's feel the infection has gone.
Today, Madi seemed to clinch onto Sandy's hand rolling her fingers
around her mom's. It was nice to see the look on Sandy's face and the
hope she expressed. I know Madi is in a sedated state right now, but I
feel so strong she knows we are all there, you just have to believe it.
Mike and Sandy send their thanks once again to everyone who has shown
their love and concern for Madison. Messages and e-mails are being
brought out to them right now until an internet connection from the
hospital is figured out.
