I heard that the lightened gears are not good for cruiser's due to oil airation because of the holes. Is there any truth to this?

I have them in mine with no trouble.
I have a set of 50's that are not lightened but they are fine spline.

I would like to stay with 54's or 60's, because the use the same amount of teeth on the top gear (43) just the bottom gear changes.
57's go with a 44 top gear which means i could end up going 1.63, I just think that would be too much.
